Overseas Exchange

I spent four months at Gachon University in South Korea as part of an overseas exchange programme. Coming from a polytechnic background, the opportunity to study alongside university students in a different academic environment gave me a valuable change in perspective.

During the exchange, I took five Bachelor-level modules covering machine learning, data processing, cloud infrastructure, networking, and web development, completing the semester with a GPA of 4.5 / 4.5.

Beyond Academics

The exchange became much more than an academic experience. I worked on projects with students from different backgrounds, participated in a hackathon, travelled across South Korea, and formed friendships with people from more than ten countries.

It was also a period of personal growth. I became more independent, spent long days working in the university library, explored new cities and regions, and even achieved a sub-30-minute 5 km personal record.
